so you don`t have the actual 2 dvd special edition? because that one has the german subtitles for deaf people! you might try to get a hold of that one.

I think he does have it. I know I do. If I can find the time I will post the comments so that you can translate it for everyone. I haven't gotten that far in translating the movie.

Party ist angesagt, aber lasst uns die Regeneration durchzeihen. Ganz wichtig, In vier tagen ist das nachste spiel.wir wollen mehr, wir wollen das ding da. okay? riesenkompliment, affengeil regeneration.

here is the subtitles, a lot of the words I dont know, and I looked them up and the translation is rough. If someone who speaks better then I do can translate it for me, I would really appreciate it. Thanks to you guys who let me know there were subtitles :)

Now it's party time, but let's pull through (=continue) with the regeneration. Very important, in four days is the next game. We want more, we want that thing (=the trophy) there. Okay? Huge compliments, ********ing great. Regeneration (=regenerate)!

Does anyone know where I can find English subtitles for this film, preferably in the .srt format that works with VLC Media Player? I'd be very grateful. I've heard great things about this film and downloaded it, but unfortunately won't understand any of it.

There are no English subtitles for this film. Your best bet is to find someone who can translate it for you.

    hey all....

I've found numerous torrents for the 'Ein Sommermaerchen' movie, obviously in German...

Has anyone seen a torrent out there for an English version, or subtitled? I'd love to understand the dialogue in this movie, even if subtitles are a long shot.

Unfortunately, those hit a brick wall... however, I haven't had the time necessary to pursue it as well. Summer is looming...

So my "Shield" buddy... yeah, that guy... I just was informed is coming into town next week. Time to blow the dust off my proposal...

... here's to wishing for some avenues to pursue getting this bastard in English subtitles. Prost!

    Update:

My 'Hollywood connection' finally responded only to tell me what we likely already know...

... he said when dealing with rights to a DVD/movie, things get very dicey. He said that they likely do not want to release an English subtitle version if there is not a big enough market for it. One way to campaign for this release would be to send perhaps a petition from English speaking fans who wish to see it with subtitles to the production company. This would be hard to do physically in a chat room, so it there are any suggestions from any or all of you in how we could approach this, I am all for it. Power of the people!!! ;)

He did mention that a list of 10K-15K would be quite impressive, but I am not sure we have that many interested. All one can do is try, right?
