Bolton Wanderers striker Ivan Klasnic cleared of rape claim
Bolton striker Ivan Klasnic will not face charges relating to an alleged rape last October, Greater Manchester Police have said.
The Croatia star, who scored the winner for Bolton against Fulham in the FA Cup fifth-round tie at Craven Cottage, was arrested and later twice given bail after police received a report that a 17- year-old girl had been raped in Manchester city centre.
Greater Manchester Police confirmed: 'A 30-year-old man arrested on suspicion of rape (Klasnic turned 31 in January) will face no further action.'
